Waterfront Remodel

The waterfront is being expanded to give it a more realistic look.
The waterfront as seen from the downtown.  You can see the new mainline trestle.

As work progresses on the waterfront area, the base for the water has been installed.
Tom and Johnny (right) discuss the waterfront.  The new construction has temporary been stopped and buildings added for the spring show.  It is really beginning to shape up.

A close-up of the piers with a local steamer passing through.  A UP sits on the new approach awaiting permission to cross the bridge.
The switch and all the track to the service spur has been completed.
This building will be at the end of the new spur track and located on the waters edge..
This is how the waterfront originally looked.  Expansion will move the corner by the yellow building and pier forward.  A new approach trestle will be added to the mainline.   The new siding will connect the beltline for servicing the building behind the trestle approach.
